1070 The 1070 series is a drag race 5.0" bore space splay cap block. The 1070 is offered in a spread .110" or spread .160" main spacing configuration and it features a 1.0" high cam. These blocks are very popular for any 5.0" bore space motors from 500 to 800+ cubic inches. The 1.0" high cam design is well suited for Alan Johnson, Sonny's wedge, and Sonny's semi-hemispherical cylinder heads.
