The engine block is the foundation of your race engine. If you choose a cast aluminum block, then your bad foundation has doomed your new race engine from the beginning. CN Blocks are finish machined on most surfaces. The block includes main caps, main studs, and sleeves (installed). Head studs are separate and not included in the price. The mains and cam are align honed. Most blocks are finished on head surface. The sleeves will need boring, honing, and o-ringing. The block may need stroke clearancing. The lifter bores will need final honing. CN Blocks are machined products. While we debur most major edges, extra deburring may be required.
