The engine block is the foundation of your race engine. If you choose a cast aluminum block, then your bad foundation has doomed your new race engine from the beginning. Choose a CN forged billet aluminum block and you have laid the best foundation for all the time, effort, and money that will be your new race engine. |

STRONGER — The CN aluminum blocks are made from forged billets so they are stronger than cast aluminum blocks. The tensile strength of a CN forged billet block is over 36% higher than a 356 cast aluminum block. The yield strength of our block is over 66% greater than cast blocks. |

|
LIGHTER — A race ready CN Block is typically 20 to 30 pounds lighter than a race ready cast aluminum block. Our IHRA Pro Stock block in race ready form is 30 pounds lighter than our competitors cast aluminum blocks. |

|
MORE POWER — A CN Block maintains truer cylinders which results in better ring seal. Since ring seal is the key to making power, a CN billet block will give a better leak down and make more horsepower. A common theme among aluminum block racers is not to use leak down meters because the results are very bad. Not only are CN Block customers using leak meters, they are reporting ring seal equal to and even better than cast iron blocks. |

CN Blocks is working very hard to manufacture the best foundation for your race engine. Not only is the CN block the strongest, lightest and most powerful aluminum block, but it is the best value in blocks. We utilize a better base material, and engineer a host of advantages over all other blocks. Then we manufacture your new block to tight tolerances and utilize only the best parts to finish the block. All of this adds up to the best value in blocks. |

The sleeves will need boring, honing, and o-ringing. The block may need stroke clearancing. The lifter bores will need final honing. CN Blocks are machined products. While we debur most major edges, extra deburring may be required. |
